This is an invitation to join in a powerful plea for protection of our President and his family. Send positive thoughts, good energies, prayers, wishes, however you feel comfortable in asking and assuring that President Obama be kept safe from the hatred being unleashed by those with dark hearts who wish him harm.
May these powerful forces of goodness, light, and love, surround and protect President Obama and his family, give him, and us the strength and courage to stand firm together to say NO to hatred and YES to continuing hope and movement forward to a better America.
Let's stand on the strong shoulders of those who came before us and have fought so hard for freedom and equality for all. Let their memory become our fuel, and their spirits strengthen our own. When we join our hearts and hands and spirits, there are no limits to what we can do.
I wrote this to get through the hard, hard moments after seeing that horrendous poster of Obama in a noose. It almost broke my heart and I needed to come here and be with you all for awhile. Feel free to share whatever in in your heart.
