Just for the hell of it, I added up all the comments from the four, count 'em, four rec list diaries based on remarks made by one man who isn't even an elected official. As of five minutes ago, total was 3,531, mostly pie flinging.
Think of how many hours of human energy has been poured into reacting to what that one man said. Think of what else could have been done with all that time and brain power.
